> Makeover madness
Day 247 - Fri 03 June 19,625km Estcourt, SA
Wanting to escape the bitter cold this morning we decided to take up last night's generous offer of a free makeover in a local salon and took an image changing early break. Little did I know what I was letting myself in for and I emerged shellshocked and feeling somewhat victimised two hours later with a horrific golden and ginger straightened beard and a 70s afro hair style with fringe. Fortunately the next door building was a winery and cheesery that would have helped to take my mind off my disturbing appearance if it wasn't for Dan and Sam taking great delight in reminding me.
Getting away before any makeup was called for we had a short but eventful ride to Estcourt with Sam having various inner tube issues and Danny disappearing for a slap up lunch. We have now kindly been invited to stay with fellow Comrades runner Jonathan Tarr and his wife Isabel despite my scary appearance. I just hope my peroxide burnt face recovers by morning and my hair is flattened by the pillow.

Make-over
Ha ha ha, did we burn your face really badly? Was awesome meeting you guys, hope you recovered quickly from the make-over. Can't see the pics you took, are they too embarassing to show? Take care and well done from all the Nottingham Road bunch who met you!
Richard
